Abstract
KL2,3-L22,3V satellite Auger transitions have been observed from Al. The kinetic energies of the multiplet structure of these transitions are in good agreement with excited-atom Delta SCF Hartree-Fock calculations. It is not possible to reproduce the spectral profile by associating the lineshape of the K-L2,3V transition with each component of the multiplet structure and weighting the intensities of components according to their statistical weights.
