Abstract
At the official level, the profession of “Metrologist” appeared only a few decades ago. However, even now there is no doubt that this profession has a huge impact on the daily life of a person. The thing is that metrology one way or another affects most of the areas of human activity. The most common ruler, which every person is used to using on a daily basis, is also the result of the work of a metrologist. At the same time, it is quite difficult to find a metrologist specialist in the modern world, since not every person dares to get such a specialty. Although there is no doubt that metrologists are popular. And they have great career prospects! An engineer is a leading position, therefore this specialist is always familiar with the basic norms and rules of labor protection, as well as the basic provisions of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. Within the framework of this article, the main features of a narrow profile specialization will be considered in more detail.
