Abstract
Relations may be of interest to anyone acquainted with the race problems of the Union or concerned with the more general problem of White and Black in Africa. To us inhabitants of Europe, who hear and see so much incitement of racial discord in our own Continent, it is refreshing to hear of people somewhere in the world who are working, and working successfully, for the promotion of racial co-operation and goodwill. We in England have no race problems, but when we look across Europe and see examples of the discord, cruelty, and strife that can be set up where different races are fated to share the same country, we can the more easily sympathise with the Union of South Africa.
