Abstract
Chandrasekhar’s treatment of Dirac’s equation for the electron is extended to a class of type D vacuum space-times. It is shown that in all the back-ground geometries which are known as case II in Kinnersley’s classification, Dirac’s equation can be solved by the method of separation of variables.
