Abstract
A new technique was used to measure the Bunsen solubility coefficients of CO and H 2 in deionized water and artificial sea-water in the temperature range from 0° to 30 °C. The partial pressure of the respective gas was less than 2 × 10 ?5 atmospheres. Within 10% the results compare rather well with solubility data from the literature, which were obtained from measurements applying pure CO and H 2 in the gaseous phase.
