Abstract
This article provides an overview and synthesis of seven artilces in a special issue focusing on the use of Social Network Analysis to study networks in teacher education. The article uses the Intentional Network Design framework (Baker-Doyle & Yoon, 2018) to explain the outcomes from the studies and analyze the potential for findings from social network research in education to influence future design of teacher education practices and programs.
