Abstract

The importance of migration in Mexico comes from the diversity of components (internal, external, transnational, labor, irregular, transit migration, etc.) migration and its own specific problems which are mixed with national problems such as poverty, social insecurity and organized crime. The phenomenon of migration in this country is immersed in various social contexts and areas such as politics, economics, social and labor conflicts, among others, which have caused increment of migration rate. Unfortunately, there is a gap in the guarantee of the social rights of irregular migrants, since they do not have legal certainty in their granting derived from their migratory status. Therefore, this work focuses on the effective access to social rights for irregular migrants in Mexico.
