Abstract
This paper draws on the "profile" of the uranium mining region aronnd Elliot Lake and Blind River which I prepared for the Round Table on "Man and Industry." Also, it offers an evaluation of the relations between the visiting team and the people studied; it indicates the kinds of impressions gained by the visiting team, and comments on the subsequent discussion sessions.
