Abstract

This paper disproves the graph used to present land, or any monopoly products. In particular, its owner cannot dictate the price at will. Taxing land discourages production and space supply. Rent control creates slums. Land or housing speculation does not always make money. Inflation benefits some land or housing owners and creates uneven distribution, but the root of the evil is printing money. Henry George's justice campaign aims at the wrong target.
