AbstractAbstractReports on the progress of the extensions to the Brontë Parsonage Museum were heard at the 64th annual meeting of the Society, held at the Haworth Secondary Modern School on Saturday, May 17th, 1958.The President, Mr. Donald Hopewell, was in the chair at the public meeting, which was well attended, and he read first a cabled greeting from Mrs. Helen Greene Arnold, the Society's American representative. He then spoke of the regret that all members felt at the absence from the meeting of the Chairman of the Council, Sir Linton Andrews.
