Abstract
The article looks at developments in Denmark and the results of a Ministry of Education study into the way ahead in IT. It describes the general IT initiative, and the setting up of the IT Network and Centre of Technology, based on a governmental action plan. Further advances are described as a result of a new plan in 1996.
