Abstract
Abstract A workshop designed to deal with the problems of children of divorce and their parents is described. The workshop utilized (1) an educational format where information about child development, divorce and community resources was discussed in a large group setting and (2) small support groups where individual problems could be discussed and group support could develop. Outcome measures indicated that parents’ ratings of their children's anxiety levels decreased following the workshop. Possible explanations for this finding were reviewed.
