Abstract

This article surveys key provisions of the Singapore Convention on international mediation and examines how they differ from similar terms in the New York Convention on international arbitration. The analysis concludes by identifying five distinctive features of the Singapore Convention and mediation that will impact court proceedings for relief and potentially the development of international commercial mediation.
