Abstract

The self-mixing interference in three-section distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) lasers is analyzed based on the model of F-P cavity and coupling wave equation. The oscillating frequency and threshold variation are deduced. The influence of internal and external parameters on the output intensity and the inclination degree of waveform are discussed in simulation.
