Abstract
Sign and magnitude of the electric quadrupole interaction of the 828 keV state of115In in a Zn single crystal was determined by aβ-γ TDPAC measurement. The result:v Q =e·'QIV zz /h=−193(13)MHz confirms the universal correlation between the electronic and ionic contributions to the total electric field gradient proposed by R.S. Raghavan et al.
