Abstract
In JARCE VI (1967) 135-152 Helck publishes a group of papyri from the temple of Amon at Thebes. One of these, Text B, is dated to the second year of Ramses IX (ca. 1138 B.C.). The other documents belong to the same period. Text C of this collection is a copy of a letter, sent by the High Priest of Amonrasonther to some Nubian soldiers, praising them for their efficiency in protecting a group of workers sent out on behalf of the temple administration to the gold mines in the eastern part of Wadi Hammamat.
