Abstract
JE (Japanese encephalitis) virus is a ‘Flavivirus’ associated with West Nile and St. Louis encephalitis viruses. This virus is transmitted by bites of infected or grimy culex type of mosquitos. Mostly in rural agricultural areas this virus is occurring. Their incubation period on an average 5–15 days in that period symptoms get occurs such as psychological status changes, neurological symptoms, weakness, headache, vomiting. Preventing for this virus, avoid mosquito bites by using insect repellant which is EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) registered, for babies and children wear full sleeves clothing, indoors and outdoors are covered by net for care yourself and your family from mosquito bite and also by spraying insect repellant .Follow the instructions which are labelled on product. There is no exact treatment only supportive care. It can be prevented by JE vaccine which is available in United States manufactured as IXIARO
