Abstract

ABSTRACT This short paper proposes some techniques for sewing new endbands when rebinding repaired Greek manuscripts. The techniques proposed respect the typological peculiarities of the endbands of these bindings and the need to protect the edges of bookblocks, and can be valid for both Byzantine and similar bookbinding structures.
