Abstract

Objective To observe the application effect of sensory integration training (SIT) combined with psychological and behavioral interventions for children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Methods 168 children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder were enrolled in our hospital from May 2018 to March 2019. According to the random number table method, 168 children were divided into observation group and control group. The control group just received sensory integration training, while the observation group received sensory integration training combined with psychological and behavioral interventions. All the statistical analyses were conducted by SPSS20.0. Result The effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group [91.25% (73/80) vs. 72.73% (64/88)] (χ2=9.555, P=0.002). Conclusion The sensory integration training combined with psychological and behavioral interventions could improve the symptoms of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and is worth application clinically.
