Abstract

A systematic review of the literature reported by van Eerd and his colleagues in this issue of the Journal [ [1] Van Eerd D. Beaton D. Cole D. Lucas J. Hogg-Johnson S. Bombardier C. Classification systems for upper-limb musculoskeletal disorders in workers: A review of the literature. Such an observation is a clarion call for a carefully honed nosologic classification of the subgroups of workers afflicted with these disabling conditions. There is a corollary literature than could well inform such an exercise.
