Abstract

This paper uses a PI-type dual-input and single-output self-tuning fuzzy controller to solve the non-linear problem of the electrical system's speed control system. At first its structure is analyzed, and the membership functions and control rules are set. Secondly, an improved genetic algorithm is used to optimize its three parameters, including two quantization factors and one scale factor. Finally through simulation experiments and compared with the conventional fuzzy control and the fuzzy control based on gradient method, the effectiveness and superiority of this self-tuning fuzzy controller are verified.
