Abstract

The paper contains the description of the mathematical model of simultaneous sedimentation and scouring of solid particles during the flow of suspension in a long channel. The system of two partial differential equations (mass balance equation and kinetics equation) characterizing the phenomena mentioned above has been solved applying double Carson-Heaviside transformation method. For the confirmation of the efficiency of mathematical model the exemplary computational results have been presented in the form of four figures.
