Abstract

The methods of integral geometry are used to determine the second virial coefficient of the expression for the pressure in terms of the number density for a suspension of arbitrary convex bodies with model interaction potentials. One special case considered assumes that the interaction energy is a function of only the minimum distance between the bodies, and others assume that the interaction energy is a function of the volume, surface area, and integral of the mean curvature of the intersection of the two bodies
