Abstract

In the entire history of the Catholic Church, the Second Vatican Council is considered as one of the Councils that made great changes in the Catholic World. This Council made a significant change in the field of interreligious dialogue. This change has left influences on the Catholic Church in Vietnam in its relation to members of other religious traditions. This paper examines interreligious activities that have been carried out by the Catholic Church in Vietnam. Inspired by the teachings of the Second Vatican Council, the Catholic Church in Vietnam has initiated many interreligious activities that contributed to better understanding between Catholics and followers of other faiths. With this initiation, there is hope for better understanding between Catholic Church in Vietnam and other religious traditions.
