Abstract

Atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) is a major cause of mortality globally. In November 2013, American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association published a new guideline of how to reduce the ASCVD risk [ 1 Smith Jr., S.C. Grundy S.M. 2013 ACC/AHA guideline recommends fixed-dose strategies instead of targeted goals to lower blood cholesterol. J. Am. Coll. Cardiol. The new guideline reinforced statin therapy for control of cholesterol level to reduce the ASCVD events [ 4 Strandberg T.E. Kolehmainen L. Vuorio A.
