Abstract
Abstract The education of the new man is a problem that has always attracted the attention of Voprosy filosofii. Continuing its elaboration of the problem, our editors, together with the editors of the journal Filosofs'ka dumka, jointly conducted a round table session on "The Scientific-Technological Revolution and the Formation of the New Man" in Kiev in April 1975. Prominent Ukrainian scholars, philosophers, psychologists, economists, historians, and pedagogues, Party and Soviet workers of the Ukrainian republic, and representatives of the working class and of the science and engineering intelligentsia participated in the work of the round table.
