Abstract
Let N be a nest in a factor R. In this paper, we introduce the concept of the admissible nest for R and prove that the weak operator topology closure of the convex hull of all the unitary elements in the nest subalgebra of the factor is the unit ball if and only if N is an admissible nest in R.
