Abstract

The Ru(dipy) 3 2+ -bromate-malonic acid oscillating system was in vestigated. It has been established that at early stages of the reaction the period of oscillation is about 20 sec and the potential change is about 170 mV; chloride at concentrations hiherg than 10−3M is an inhibitor. The rates of both heat evolution and formation of bromomalonic acid are periodic. The “activation energy” of the oscillating (Eω) is 16.2 kcal mol−1. Бьла исследована осциллирующая система Ru(dipy) 3 2+ -бромат-малоновая кислота. Было найдено, что на ранней стадии реакции период осциллирования равен приблизительно 20 сек, а изменение потенциала равно 170 мв; хцорид, при концент-рации выше 10−3 M, явряется ингибитором. Скорости тепловых эффектов выделения и обраэования бромомалоновой кислоты являются периодическими. “Энергия активации” осциллруюшей реакции (Eω) равна 16,2 ккал/моль.
