Abstract

Abstract As a celebration of the seventy-fifth anniversary of the discovery of the rays by Wilhelm C. Roentgen and in honor of the pioneers in Radiology, this symposium was held on Nov. 30, 1970, during the Radiological Society's Fifty-sixth Annual Scientific Assembly. The topics, each viewed in both historic and contemporary perspectives, range widely from image intensification, radioiodine, and the American College of Radiology to radiologic education, therapy, and computers.
