Abstract

The random phase approximation method is extended to calculate static electrical conductivity of fully ionized plasmas in the presence of a uniform magnetic field. The components of the corresponding conductivity tenser and other parameters have been obtained for the case of a moderate magnetic field. The results are compared with experimental data available for shock compressed plasmas.
