Abstract
Absolute line intensities, band intensities, and Herman–Wallis parameters were measured for the (01 12) I←(00 00) perpendicular band of 12 C 16 O 2 centered at 5315 cm −1 , along with the three nearby associated hot bands: (10 02) II←(01 10) I at 5248 cm −1 , (02 22) I←(01 10) I at 5291 cm −1 , and (10 02) I←(01 10) I at 5349 cm −1 . The nearby parallel hot band (30 01) I←(10 00) II at 5218 cm −1 was also included in this study. The rotationless band intensities at 296 K are, respectively, Band S v o cm −1/( molecule/ cm 2) (01 12) I ←(00 00) (47.6±0.4)×10 −24 (10 02) II ←(01 10) I (1.36±0.04)×10 −24 (02 22) I ←(01 10) I (3.60±0.05)×10 −24 (10 02) I ←(01 10) I (0.513±0.025)×10 −24 (30 01) I ←(10 00) II (2.279±0.031)×10 −24
