Abstract
Europe 2020 relies on smart growth. Romanian food industry is competitive in terms of possible integration of domestic agricultural production and increase of employment. There was no territorial correlation between agricultural production and the absorption capacity of the food industry, and any reference to the final consumer. The animal production is being used in totally other counties than those who really have the highest number of animals.
