Abstract

In recent years, the number of cancer deaths per year in China has been in the forefront of all kinds of diseases, and a large number of people at the end of life have put forward the need for hospice care. Hospice care is a mode of providing comprehensive care for terminal-stage patients, which is a part of integrated oncology nursing. This article reviews the definition and content of hospice care, emphatically focusing on the roles and thinking of nurses, to help nurses play their professional roles and perform their duties better in hospice care for patients with cancer.
