Проаналізовано ознаки, функції, переваги, завдання класичних університетів у системі вищої освіти. Обговорюється стан навчання безпечній життєдіяльності у спеціалізованих, технічних та класичних вишах. Надається перевага класичному університету щодо формування культури безпечної життєдіяльності. Пропонується використовувати випускників класичних університетів для здійснення наукової, просвітницької, волонтерської та допоміжної ролі у забезпеченні безпеки країни
