Abstract

Twinning plays an important role for nucleation and growth of dynamic recrystallization (DRX) grains in alloy 800 H. The locally varying twin frequency is shown to be quantitatively related to lattice rotations during deformation. Evidence for repeated nucleation of DRX was found.
