Abstract

This chapter describes the main areas that contribute to the active development of small and medium enterprises and measures of its state support. The purpose of this study is to ensure the economic sustainability of the development of small and medium enterprises through the mechanism of state support. In the current economic conditions, the primary task is to create a system that includes federal and regional levels. An important point in such a system is the constant interaction of regional and federal structures and the synchronous implementation of decisions taken in the field of support and development of small and medium enterprises. This chapter summarizes the results of the measures of state support of small and medium enterprises, as well as formulating proposals for the “reflow” business support systems taking into account the current economic situation and the main directions of state policy.
