Abstract

The study examined the relationship between psychological capacity and physician care of doctors at some hospitals in Ho Chi Minh city based on theories of psychological capacity. Qualitative research methods combined with quantitative research were used in this study. Analysis results from 212 surveys using PLS-SEM tools showed that the impact of psychological capacity on physician care was strong and statistically significant. On that basis, the study provided some administrative implications for hospitals about the role of doctor’s psychological capital in the quality of medical examination and treatment, as well as limitations and directions for further research.
