Abstract

Objective: The human microbiome is thought to influence the inflammatory response and cancer development. This pilot study aimed to characterize the role of the gastrointestinal, cervico-vaginal, and endometrial microbiome in uterine cancer development in postmenopausal women with benign conditions, grade 1 endometrioid adenocarcinoma (EC), and uterine serous carcinoma (USC).
