Abstract

This article examines the essence of investment attractiveness, the views of economists on the formation of a favorable investment climate in attracting foreign direct investment. International practice on increasing investment attractiveness in attracting foreign direct investment is analyzed. It analyzes the GFICA (Global Foreign Investment Country Attractiveness) index and the indicators of developed and developing countries on foreign direct investment. Scientific conclusions and recommendations have been formulated to increase investment attractiveness in attracting foreign direct investment.
