The study sample included (324) parents from Asir region, who were chosen by the stratified sampling method. The results of the study showed an active role for parents in helping their children in the distance learning process during the pandemic, and the results showed that there were several challenges faced by parents during the distance learning process to a moderate degree. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the role of the family and the challenges it faced during the distance learning process during the Corona pandemic attributed to the study variables (school qualification, educational stage, monthly income, place of residence, and number of children).
