Abstract

The article emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive approach in shaping young schoolchildren's relationships with nature. This approach encompasses the integration of environmental education into various teaching subjects, the organization of practical activities aimed at solving real environmental problems, and the cultivation of respectful attitudes towards the environment through various educational activities. Additionally, the role of the educational environment in developing critical thinking necessary for understanding modern ecological challenges and in shaping an active citizen's stance towards environmental protection is noted.
