Abstract
The magnetic form factor of the three-body system is found to be sensitive to the π NN coupling through its dependence on the axial mass. Hence, it provides the means for an investigation of this mass. In contrast the electromagnetic form factors of the deuteron and the charge form factor of the three-body system cannot furnish information along these lines.
