Abstract

Annotation. The article deals with the issues of economic education in schools and higher educational institutions, as well as modern requirements for teaching economic disciplines. At present, the requirements of employers are increasing not only to the professional level of employees newly coming to the organization, but also to the level of their social development, the ability to be responsible for the actions performed and evaluate them. All this determines the need for a conscious introduction of young people into socio-economic relations at school age. The teaching of economics is quite fully responsible for this task. At the same time, the analysis of the curricula of secondary schools in Kazakhstan revealed the lack of attention of developers to the subject "Economics". In the state educational standard of secondary general education, "Economics" is also referred to the profile level in the list of subjects for the choice of the field "Social Sciences".The methods of teaching the discipline "Economics" in universities are considered
