Abstract

The article discusses the current problems of supporting the social well­being of students of secondary vocational and higher education. Based on the materials of a sociological study conducted in the Khanty­Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (KhMAO-Yugra), the problems of social well-being of students were analyzed, one of the sources of which was their immediate social environment. The article identifies two groups of it: on the one hand, parents, relatives, friends, on the other — teachers, mentors, curators, stuff of departments, deans, representatives of the trade union organization. Various aspects of the socio-demographic portrait of students are shown, important aspects of the students’ immediate environment and their social well-being are considered, the subjects of support for the social well-being of students are characterized.
