Abstract

Scattering of a lining circular tunnel embedded in anisotropic half space is investigated by means of complex function theory and multi polar coordinate system. Aiming at solving the governing equation of anisotropic medium, a pair of transformations are introduced. Then, wave and stress fields in the half space and the tunnel is obtained. In the following, the unknown coefficients in scattering wave and standing wave are solved by utilizing the boundary conditions. Finally, typical numerical results are presented to demonstrate the surface displacement amplitudes when different anisotropic parameters are assumed.
