Abstract
The current study sought to identify the simultaneous engineering technology activities as an integrated model that helps reduce costs and develop the current product design model according to the customers requirements through the sum of the relative weights. The importance of each component depends on the relationship between the customers requirements and the components functionality. This research aims to show the knowledge foundations of concurrent engineering technology and its importance in achieving competitive advantage and reducing costs.
