THE ROLE OF REFERRING IN THE TEXTUAL INTERRELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THEORY AND PRACTICE, THE POETRY OF SAID AL-SAQLAWI AS A MODEL

Abstract

The research seeks to develop an accurate definition of referring that matches its concept in textual linguistics, and to reconsider the types of referring by differentiating between its three elements: reference, explainer and object. and by looking at the functions of the referring, and by defining the angle of view when dividing any element or when dividing the relationship between the three elements. Moreover, the research applies all of the above to the poems of the Omani poet Saeed Al-Saqlawi to add a new artistic value in reading his poetry
