Abstract

ABSTRACT This study talks about the challenges faced by the project manager to implement a digitized supply chain quickly and ways to overcome them in the healthcare industry. A combination of the Best-Worst Method and fuzzy DEMATEL is used to study the factors that would pose a challenge to a Project Manager. The output from the Best-Worst Method is fed as the input to the fuzzy DEMATEL method. The study showed that Presenteeism is one of the most influential factors in the system. It also shows that a Project Manager must be someone with a good knowledge of the business and its working. The findings indicate that for a project to become successful during novel working conditions, the Project Manager and the project team as a whole are responsible and need to come together.
