Abstract
An analysis of the influence of postcollisional effects in multiple ionization of diatomic molecules for impact of He2+ and C6+ beams is made. A comparison between the present theoretical results with the ones previously obtained for impact of proton beams shows that contribution of Auger-type processes becomes less important compared to direct ionization ones as the value of the projectile nuclear charge increases.
