Abstract

AbstractThe paper contains the study results of the effectiveness of organic and mineral fertilizers, including siliceous rocks (zeolite) in increasing yields and producing grain of winter wheat and corn. The study was carried out in two field experiments. In the first experiment, the effectiveness of organic fertilizers in the form of barley straw (precursor), green manure (the mixture composed of vetch and oats) and a biological preparation (Biocomposite-correct) in the technology of winter wheat cultivation was studied when they were applied both in pure form and after mineral fertilizers. In the second experiment the focus was on the effect of high-siliceous rock - zeolite as a fertilizer for corn at doses of 500 and 2000 kg/ha, together with mineral fertilizer. It was found that the use of straw, green manure plants, biological preparations as an organic fertilizer for agricultural crops contributes not only to an increase in the yield of winter wheat, but also to the production of ecologically clean produce of winter wheat. The application of a high-siliceous zeolite rock when used both in pure form and together with mineral fertilizers is a more effective means of reducing the level of heavy metals in corn grain.KeywordsProtection implementsGeographic information systemsCrop guality
